Meet Eddie.
The fleet manager.
His job is not to read dashboards.
It is to turn fleet evidence into the right action—and make sure it happens.
Working role profile built from the fleet-manager manual, existing VOC and strategy discussion. Not a verified biography, interview quote or assessment of Eddie personally.

More assets. The same quality of service.
Target—not current performance.Customer outcomes across fleet performance, maintenance spend, safety, and service follow-through.
Manage a fleet portfolio of 10,000 assets without losing quality or customer trust.
Scattered context, uncertain data, manual review, unclear owners, repeated chasing.
“What matters? Why? Who owns it? What happened next?”
Proposed job framing, not a direct quote.
Know Eddie better — responsibilities, pressures, decisions and boundaries
What he owns
- Monitor accounts and surface meaningful exceptions.
- Verify evidence and gather site context.
- Review maintenance charges and vendor performance.
- Prepare coaching, reviews and recommendations.
- Coordinate owners and verify outcomes.
What makes work hard
- The next issue may sit in telemetry, a PDF, a text or someone’s memory.
- A low-hours asset may still be critical at peak demand.
- Each customer has different responsibilities and expectations.
- A sent report does not mean anyone acted.
What earns trust
- Explain the evidence without guessing.
- Get ahead of the customer’s escalation.
- Respect the site’s constraints.
- Show financial options—not dictate operations.
- Follow through and remember the context.
His decision boundaries
- Customer supervisors lead employee coaching.
- Operations executes deployment logistics.
- Commercial owners execute lease decisions.
- Payment and work approval depend on delegation.
- Customer-facing AI drafts require human review/release.
Tools and relationships
- AssetPro: equipment and operational evidence.
- Creatio: account work, tasks and CX records.
- SharePoint: documents and meeting evidence.
- Coordinator, support, vendors and customer owners fill gaps.
- Canonical record ownership still needs agreement.
Validate with Eddie
- Actual account/asset load and team coverage.
- Which tasks consume the most time?
- What happens outside working hours?
- Which evidence does he trust or double-check?
- Which decisions can he make himself?

One journey. Built to support 10,000 assets.
Every use case must reduce per-asset effort, improve delegation or protect service quality as Eddie’s portfolio grows.
Choose a stage, then a use case. Open only the detail your workshop needs.
This is an operating loop, not a rigid daily sequence: reviews and outcomes feed the next round of monitoring. Onboarding and renewals occur at their own cadence.
Who joins him along the journey?
Show the right stakeholder at the handoff. Responsibilities and authority matter more than job titles.

From workshop to PRD
Capacity gate: explain how each proposed capability helps Eddie manage 10,000 assets, what human work remains, and which service-quality guardrails it must pass.
Pick one use case. Agree the outcome, rules, evidence and test cases. Only then lock the engineering scope.
What remains unvalidated?
- Real task frequency and effort: observe Eddie and the coordinator.
- Approval thresholds, exception rules, coverage and escalation ownership.
- Metric definitions, authoritative source systems and integration feasibility.
- Actual customer delegation, privacy constraints and stakeholder access.
- Movement precision, camera and WMS capabilities remain later discovery—not implied MVP promises.

Based on the existing internal discovery pack, Fleet Manager Manual Version 1.0 10-6-2026, current VOC persona synthesis and the 3PM strategy discussion. Manual procedures are intended work; all software behavior and tests here are proposed. The existing strategic themes and cards are referenced, not changed. FM-01…FM-11 are workshop story identifiers, not new product-card IDs. 3PM-E6 remains Open items; 3PM-E7 remains End of lease. No delivery dates or capacity targets have been committed.
The detailed internal reference pack is maintained separately.
